I am amazed in the light of such well intended advice I ever arrived here this morning let alone got on to the train....

The thing is I received other advice... I include it here because it is inspiring and relevant to everyone who may offer up an idea of travel only to be dispirited by those who themselves would never go:

I am at heathrow...just about to board the flight for Miami....transferring there to La Paz...I believe I have accepted the correct advice!!
